Shalni is a Chartered Accountant and until 2007 was the Finance Director of a successful Biotechnology Company.
She holds a degree in Genetics from Cambridge University and a Masters in International Development from University of Manchester. She commenced her career at Arthur Andersen before moving to AstraZeneca. In 2000 she left to found DxS, a venture capital backed company specialising in cancer diagnostics. Shalni is the CEO of the Savannah Wisdom Foundation and is on the Board of the British Asia Trust, Transparency International UK, Alderhey Children’s Hospital Charity and is a member of the Network for Social Change.
